In this website, we will provide you with some information with regard to the charges of DWI, DWAI and DWAI Drugs in New York. It is absolutely critical to note, however, that the information contained in this website should not be construed as legal advice — it is more like a general reference guide. Every case is different, as is every client. In addition, the penalties for DWAI, DWI, Aggravated DWI, DWAI Drugs and DWAI Combined Influence if, among other things, (a) you are under 21 years old of age, (b) you have a commercial driver’s license (“CDL”), and/or (c) you refused to submit to a chemical test. Also, there may be one or more defenses to the charge, in which case the charge may be resolved far more favorably, for you than would be the case if you merely accepted the District Attorney’s standard plea bargain offer.
The NCDD is not affiliated with any governmental authority. See Rules of Prof. Con., Rule 7.4(c)(1); Hayes v. New York Attorney Grievance Comm. of the 8th Jud. Dist., 672 F.3d 158 (2d Cir. 2012).
